To all those critical of Teachers as Engineers:

在教学和研究机构做欺诈sultancy work
based on a set of rules approved by the respective Institutions.
Normally, they do not solicit work or fill tender forms.
They are approached through their institutions or individually
for their expertise. Their expertise is better for jobs involving
analysis and design in case of new structures or for trouble shooting
in case of existing structures.

Do not get jealous. They do not take away anybody's routine work.
License or not, they have a unique role to play and will be sought
out for their expertise, now and forever. It cannot be wished away
by an artificial shackles.
